Program Overview

In the South, two thirds of HIV+ individuals live in rural areas and often face many socio-economic barriers that prevent them from receiving proper care. A new initiative, The Access to Care Initiative: Telemedicine (“AC:T”), aims to change that. Program faculty will discuss this new technology and provide insight from the point-of-view of the organizational director, physician, and project manager.
