Program Overview

Health starts in our homes, schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities. Where and how we live can have a great impact on our health. We know that people are generally healthier when they eat healthier and exercise, but there are a lot of other factors that can impact our health, including access to healthcare services, clean water, and social and economic opportunities. Program faculty will discuss these issues and provide helpful information on social determinants of health.
