Quarterly Meetings

The ACCCC holds quarterly meetings at various locations across the state to coordinate and strengthen cancer control efforts.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the ACCCC in-person meeting held on January 19, 2024. At this meeting, Dr. Amber Clark-Brown presented on Fostering Health Equity in Alabama, Nancy Wright, Cancer Division Director presented on Operation Wipe Out Cervical Cancer Alabama, Dr. Barry Sleckman presented on O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center Updates, and Dr. Travelle Ellis presented on Improving Access & Uptake of Stool-Based Colorectal Cancer Screening. The Coalition continues to educate the public on the importance of continuing regular cancer screenings.
