Home Health Services
Cherokee County Health Department provides home health services to residents of Cherokee County who meet eligibility requirements.
This agency is a Medicare/Medicaid-certified provider for home health care. The home health team provides professional care on an intermittent part-time basis in the privacy of the home to acutely and/or chronically ill individuals. Several treatments can now be provided in the home previously limited to the hospital setting.
The staff is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. On-call service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, by calling 1-800-732-9206, or 256-845-8690. The fax # is 256-845-0331.
