Home Health Services
The Sylacauga Branch houses the Talladega County Home Health Program, which provides home health care services to residents of Talladega County who meet eligibility requirements.
The Talladega County Home Health Program provides home care services to residents of Talladega, Tallapoosa, and Coosa Counties who meet eligibility requirements.
The department is a Medicare and Medicaid-certified provider for home health care. The home health team provides professional care on an intermittent part-time basis in the privacy of the home to acutely and/or chronically ill individuals. Several treatments can now be provided in the home that were previously limited to the hospital setting.
Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. For more information about the program, call 256-249-4893 or toll-free at 1-800-843-8803.
On-call service is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day, including holidays.
