New Leaf Training
A New Leaf… Choices for Healthy Living is a structured nutrition, physical activity and assessment program for chronic disease risk reduction through weight reduction and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
BodyWorks is a program designed to help parents and caregivers of young adolescent girls (ages 9 to 15) improve family eating and activity habits. The program focuses on parents as role models and provides them with hands-on tools to make small, specific behavior changes to prevent obesity and help maintain a healthy weight.
Heart Truth Training
Heart Truth is a national awareness and prevention campaign about heart disease in women sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), part of the National Institutes of Health of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The Heart Truth information targets women ages 40 to 60, the time when a women's risk of heart disease begins to increase. The program encourages women to take an active role to prevent and control the risk factors for heart disease.
