The Alabama Department of Public Health Workforce Development Program is dedicated to creating a learning culture which provides our employees the opportunity to develop personally and professionally by offering training programs and initiatives designed to aide in delivering high quality, appropriate public health services. As a result of this, the department has adopted a Workforce Development (WFD) Plan.
The greatest assets within ADPH are it's employees; therefore, we want to devote the necessary resources to ensure that they are continually progressing and growing with the dynamics of the industry.
The Workforce Development unit is housed in the Bureau of Professional and Support Services. For questions or further information regarding Workforce Development, please contact Patronya Sanks, Workforce Development Coordinator, at (334) 206-7942 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
