The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) announces a funding request for Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) proposals from community organizations and other entities.

The Office of HIV Prevention and Care is now soliciting proposals for EHE with strategies that will focus on diagnosing all people with HIV as early as possible; treating people with HIV rapidly and effectively to reach viral suppression; preventing new HIV transmission by using proven interventions; and responding quickly to potential HIV outbreaks to get needed prevention and treatment services to people who need them.

Eligible applicants are public governmental and/or private organizations which can demonstrate current non-profit 501c3 status and that can demonstrate capability to meet the activities outlined in the request for proposal (RFP). The EHE plan relies heavily on new voices and non-traditional community-based organizations; therefore, these entities are strongly encouraged to apply.
