COVID-19 Bridge Access Program

To help ensure that millions of uninsured and underinsured American adults continue to have access to no-cost COVID-19 vaccinations, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is launching the Bridge Access Program for COVID-19 vaccines this fall. The Alabama COVID-19 Bridge Access Program will provide COVID-19 vaccines to adults who are uninsured or underinsured. These vaccines will be provided at the following locations: County Health Departments, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Centers, Indian Health Services, and some independent pharmacies that are located in medically underserved communities. The electronic enrollment form for the Alabama COVID-19 Bridge Access Program will be released at the end of September 2023. You must be enrolled in this program in order to receive and provide COVID-19 Bridge Access Program vaccines.
