Drive-up COVID-19 testing available in Bullock County June 17 and June 24

Drive-up COVID-19 testing clinics will be offered by the Bullock County Health Department in Union Springs to patients who meet the testing criteria and call for an appointment at (334) 738-3030.

The drive-up clinics are scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, and Wednesday, June 24, from 9 a.m. – 12 noon at the Bullock County Health Department, 674 Hicks Industrial Blvd., Union Springs.

Symptoms of COVID-19 consist of either cough or shortness of breath (difficulty breathing) or at least two of the following; fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell.

Patients eligible for drive-up clinic specimen collection must meet these criteria:

  • Persons with symptoms
  • Healthcare facility workers, workers in congregate living settings, and first responders with symptoms
  • Persons without symptoms who have underlying medical conditions or disability placing them at a higher risk of complications or screening of other asymptomatic individuals based on a case by case review and approval by the state health department or local health jurisdiction.

Drive up testing specimen collection clinics will also be offered on June 17 and June 24 at the following county health departments in the East Central District: Autauga, Russell and Montgomery counties. Please contact the health department to schedule an appointment.
