Suicide: Prevention, Intervention, and Postvention

Statistics estimate that a person dies by suicide every 11 minutes in the United States with many more having failed attempts. COVID-19 shutdowns appear to have increased the prevalence of suicidal ideation by increasing social isolation and decreasing access to care. This program provides healthcare professionals evidenced based best practices to intervene on behalf of these individuals and their families.
