Program Overview

In this program, we will explore the history and epidemiology of 'long COVID' and begin to understand its etiology and manifestations.

Target Audience

Public health professionals, nurses, social workers, clinicians, health educators, other healthcare professionals, and infection preventionist specialists interested in learning more about long COVID or who provide health services to those reporting long-COVID symptoms

Continuing Education Credits have been approved for nurses and social workers by the Deep South Center for Occupational Health and Safety for this program. The Deep South Center for Occupational Health and Safety is an approved provider of continuing education units for nurses by the Alabama Board of Nursing (Provider ABNP0420 Expiration Date 12/22/2025) and has awarded this program 1.0 contact hours.

In order to receive credit for this training you must:
1. Register for this training (Register link at the top of this page)
2. Watch the entire program
3. Complete the online evaluation following the program (link above under Post-Conference Materials)
4. Complete the Alabama Nursing and Social Work CEU Request Form on the ARC IPC webpage (you will be redirected to this form after you complete the evaluation). The evaluation form will be sent electronically to all registered participants following the program

After completing the Alabama Nursing and Social Work CEU Request Form on the ARC IPC website:
•The Deep South Center for OH&S will submit requests for Nursing CEU directly to the Alabama Board of Nursing.
•The Deep South Center for OH&S will send social workers requesting CEUs an additional form you will need to complete and submit to your CEU provider.

CE units for this program will expire on September 3, 2023. Please allow two weeks for your CEUs to be added and/or your certificate to be sent via email.
