ADPH Employee Safety Awareness Video

An active shooter is an individual actively engaging in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and populated area. In most cases, active shooters use firearms and have no pattern or method to their selection of victims. Active shooter situations are unpredictable and evolve quickly. This training video, produced by the City of Houston Mayor’s Office of Public Safety and Homeland Security, provides information that is important for everyone to know during an active shooter event.
