The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) is the lead agency for Medical Needs Shelter operations in Alabama.  ADPH staff including nurses, social workers, environmentalists, and administrative assistants may be called to serve in a MNS.  This video provides specific information on the roles and responsibilities in a MNS and an overview of emergency response.
