Advance Team - Medical Needs Shelter Set Up Demonstration

An Advance Team is a group of ADPH employees who deploy to a Medical Needs Shelter (MNS) location in advance of the MNS Team. The team brings supplies and equipment for sheltering and, in coordination with local nursing staff, sets up the shelter. After the shelter closes, the Advance Team returns to the facility, packs up the equipment and unused supplies, and returns the items to the Center for Emergency Preparedness warehouse. This video demonstrates unloading the trailer, setting up a small MNS, and how to mitigate potential safety issues.
