Program Overview

In 2006 the Stroke Systems Operations Group (SSOG) was developed to serve as the official oversight group to view the stroke system from a state level, to evaluate the available resources and partners, and to continue an important dialogue for developing a stroke plan. This system will involve every aspect of care from public health education, call centers, pre-hospital, hospital, and rehabilitation. On January 20, 2011, the SSOG Advisory Council met to discuss where our state is in this process of developing a stroke system of care and what next steps are necessary.
