The WIC Nutrition Education and Breastfeeding Promotion Workshop is an annual education offering for registered dietitians, registered nurses, and other professional staff of the Alabama WIC Program operating through the Alabama Department of Public Health. The purpose of the workshop is to provide in-service training and technical assistance for professional staff involved in providing nutritional assessment, individual care plan development, and nutrition education and breastfeeding promotion and support to Alabama WIC participants.
