The Young Breast Cancer Survivorship Network (YBCSN) is an initiative of the UAB School of Nursing. The YBCSN mission is to improve the quality of life for young breast cancer survivors and their loved ones through education, support and networking. The 2015 Annual Young Breast Cancer Survivors Workshop highlights personal stories about carrying on with day-to-day life after being diagnosed with breast cancer. The workshop also included a presentation and interview on the role that genetics plays in our risk for developing breast cancer.
