This presentation will provide a macro overview of the NPHPSP and highlight the new Version 2 release, and discuss how they have incorporated language into legislation for state health improvement planning and used the NPHPSP and state-level MAPP activities in response to this legislation.

As the current State Health Commissioner that is leading the use of the state and local assessments, Dr. Monroe discusses NPHPSP application from a high-level standpoint as well as how she sees the NPHPSP fitting in with overall health initiatives in the state. Also, as an early adopter of Version 2, she will speak about use of the new NPHPSP instruments.
