Program Overview
A natural disaster, pandemic flu or other type of public health emergency has just hit your community. Local health and emergency response officials are doing all they can to coordinate and contain the event but they realize they’ll need help. Officials turn to neighboring towns, counties and even states for additional resources only to find they either can’t get them or the services, once they arrive, are creating more problems. How does this happen?
