Program Overview

Our series on health disparities in minorities in Alabama continues. During this session we’ll focus on diabetes, and how smoking and tobacco use can play a role in the disease. While diabetes itself can affect anyone at any age, there does seem to be a correlation between it and minority populations. We’ll explore this connection much deeper during this part of our series.
