Program Overview

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) requires all preparedness and response programs to include functional access needs for those with disabilities. Program faculty will discuss the law’s requirements, explain how it will help agencies update current response plans, and review some of the most common lessons learned from this crucial part of emergency planning and response.
