Program Overview

This presentation will discuss the history of rabies in Alabama, describing the sources and ideology, and provide information on reporting and testing, along with options for medical treatment.

Target Audience

Alabama Department of Public Health employees, public health officials, healthcare administrators
and providers, and other individuals who may need to be able to recognize, report, and prevent
human rabies following potential exposures.
