Property Management

The Alabama Constitution requires that the Office of State Auditor make a complete report to the governor showing the receipts and disbursement of every character, all claims audited and paid out, all taxes and revenues collected and paid into the treasury, and the sources thereof. The Auditor shall also make reports more often upon matters about the Office if required by the Governor or the Legislature.


The mission of the Property Section is to maintain 100% compliance with the Alabama State Auditor, account for all department equipment listed in State Auditor's "Protégé" inventory management system, and to ensure Public Health's vehicle fleet is maintained in a safe and operational condition.
