Program Overview

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death and disability in Alabama, and people living with diabetes are 2-4 times more likely to die from it. Faculty will utilize clinical evidence to share the benefits of combination therapy of lipid lowering medication and positive outcomes to clinicians and patients.

Nurses, social workers, registered dietitians, pharmacists, anyone working with patients living with diabetes
