Car Seat Inspection Stations
We all want our children to travel safely in cars. Installing a car seat for younger children and babies can be a challenge. The Alabama Department of Public Health has certified child passenger safety (CPS) technicians in your community who can, free of charge, check to make sure your car seats are installed correctly and teach you how to use and install a car seat on your own.

Become a Tech
Do you have a passion for keeping Alabama kids safe by making sure they are safe on every ride? If so, please consider becoming a nationally certified Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician through the Safe Kids Program. The certification course is for three full days and consists of open book quizzes, hands-on skills assessments and a check up event.
