The Escambia Health Department offers WIC, environmental, home care, and clinical services to the public. Clinical services include: STD testing and treatment, family planning, childhood and other vaccines, and breast and cervical cancer screening. Certified copies of birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates may be obtained from this health department.

The Alabama Department of Public Health offers free communication assistance to all clients. Free communication assistance is the use of an interpreter or other communication services to assist the participant to effectively communicate with bilingual staff. Learn more.
COVID-19 Vaccine
Atmore Clinic: COVID-19 vaccinations are given Tuesday, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., at 8600 Highway 31 North Atmore, Alabama 36502. No appointment is needed. These clinics will be run on a first come/first serve basis.
Brewton Clinic: COVID-19 vaccinations are given Tuesday, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., at 1115 Azalea Ave. Brewton, AL 36426. No appointment is needed. These clinics will be run on a first come/first serve basis.

The Sadie Grace Andrews Act is a law requiring all restaurants and commercial food establishments that have accessible outdoor grease traps have lids that can withstand loads from traffic and are inaccessible to children. Please see our flyer for full details.
