Ozanam Program

Ozanam Charitable Pharmacy is Alabama’s only licensed charitable pharmacy. It provides free prescription medications to uninsured individuals in Mobile, Baldwin, Washington, and Escambia Counties. As a licensed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Ozanam focuses primarily on maintenance medications for chronic illnesses, such as heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure.

Eligibility Guidelines

• Live in Mobile, Baldwin, Washington, and Escambia Counties only.
• Are age 18 to 65.
• Do not have Medicaid.
• Do not have health insurance.
• Do not have Medicare. However, once you spend $3,310 on the prescription coverage plan, you have hit the “donut hole”. If you meet our other requirements, please bring your Medicare printout from your regular pharmacy, and we can help you until your benefits reset at the end of the year.
