Home Health Services
Home Health care services to residents of Cherokee County who meet eligibility requirements are provided through the Dekalb County Health Department. This agency is a Medicare/Medicaid-certified provider of home health care.
The Home Health staff is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, by calling 1-800-732-9206. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This agency is a Medicare/Medicaid-certified provider of home health care. The home health team provides professional care on an intermittent part-time basis in the privacy of the home to acutely and/or chronically ill individuals. Several treatments can now be provided in the home, which was previously limited to the hospital setting.
