Permitting

To obtain a Manufactured Food Processing Permit your business will be required to submit documentation for review. The required documents depend on your specific circumstances.

Newly built locations or remodeled/renovated locations refer to the Plan Review section of our website for details.

OR

Existing buildings that have held a food permit within the last five years, or currently permitted locations will be required to submit the following documents to [email protected].

• Equipment Layout Drawing
• Descriptions of Foods Produced
• Process Flow
• Food Safety Plan
• Specialized Process HACCP (if applicable)
• Processing Authority Test Results (if applicable)
• Certificates from Required Training Courses (if applicable)

Once the documentation is reviewed and approved, an application will be emailed to the applicant. The local county health department will be copied so that the permit application payment can be processed (if applicable).

Fees (if applicable) are assessed at the Local County Health Departments. Please contact the county for payment requirements.
