Aim for Hope, Inc.

Project Name: AIM Project

Project Description

The AIM Project focuses its efforts in Barbour, Bullock, Butler, Coffee, Crenshaw, and Pike Counties. Programming is provided for sixth through ninth grade youth utilizing approved curricula. Most of the programs are delivered within the school setting, with others provided in community settings, such as Boys and Girls Clubs, health fairs, and group homes. Utilizing trained facilitators as well as trained teen leaders selected from area schools, all programming will work to promote youth decisions to abstain from sexual activity, make healthy choices, and avoid all youth risk behaviors. Outreach programs will be available in the project area throughout the summer for youth and for their parents.
