Quarterly Meetings

The ACCCC holds quarterly meetings at various locations across the state to coordinate and strengthen cancer control efforts.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the ACCCC webex virtual meeting held on October 18, 2024. At this meeting, John B. Waits, MD presented on Charting a Course to healthier Communities: Cahaba Medical Care's Journey in Elevating Health Literacy for Equitable Access & Enhanced Outcomes, Richard Beverly, MD presented on Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama Serious Illness Care Program, Mauricio Escobar, MD presented on Breast Cancer Awareness. The Coalition continues to educate the public on the importance of continuing regular cancer screenings.
