Ventilator Triage Guidance
The Ventilator Triage Guidance posted in 2010 is no longer in effect. It has been replaced by the Alabama Crisis Standards of Care Guidelines. The Alabama Crisis Standards of Care Guidelines are the only crisis care guidelines endorsed by the Alabama Department of Public Health. All people deserve compassion and equal respect, and with this in mind, the allocation of care cannot discriminate based on race, color, national origin, disability, age, sex, exercise of conscience, or religion.
