New FY25 ARC Funding Opportunity -- Investments Supporting Partnerships in Recovery Ecosystems (INSPIRE)
The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has issued a notice of solicitation of applications (NOSA) for its Investments Supporting Partnerships in Recovery Ecosystems (INSPIRE) Initiative. INSPIRE supports projects that create or expand support services that help individuals impacted by substance use disorder (SUD) enter or reenter the workforce. Applicants can request up to $500,000 for implementation projects or $100,000 for planning projects.
Successful INSPIRE projects focus on the creation and expansion of services in the recovery-to-work ecosystem, including skills and workforce training programs, mentoring, peer support, and other wraparound services tailored to individuals in recovery. INSPIRE projects can also build partnerships and coordination among recovery services and providers, establish or expand recovery-ready workplace models, as well as integrate local economic development plans with existing state and regional recovery-to-work activities.
Letters of Intent are due February 14, 2025 by 4 p.m. CT. They may be submitted through INSPIRE's website.

New Funding Available: Rural Residency Planning and Development Program
Applications are open now through April 10, 2025.
The Rural Residency Planning and Development (RRPD) Program is open and accepting applications for the programs's 3-year period of performance (August 1, 2025 - July 31, 2028). HRSA will make up to 15 awards, each up to $750,000, to improve and expand access to health care in rural areas by developing new sustainable rural residency programs, including rural track programs (RTPs).
Eligible applicants include all domestic public and private, nonprofit or for-profit, entities. Applicants must propose a new rural residency program in a qualifying medical specialty. Qualifying medical specialties are family medicine, internal medicine, preventive medicine, psychiatry, general surgery, and obstetrics and gynecology.

HRSA Rural Maternity and Obstetrics Management Strategies Program (Rural MOMS)
Applications are open now through April 22, 2025.
The Rural Maternity and Obstetrics Management Strategies (Rural MOMS) Program from HRSA's Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP), is open and accepting applications for the program's 4-year period of performance (September 30, 2025 - September 29, 2029). HRSA awards up to 3 cooperative agreements for up to $1,000,000 per year, to provide support to establish innovative, collaborative rural obstetric networks to improve maternity care and access to care in rural communities.
Eligible applicants include all domestic public or private, non-profit, or for-profit entity providing prenatal care, labor care, birthing, and postpartum care services in rural areas, frontier areas, or medically underserved areas, or to medically underserved populations or Indian Tribes or Tribal organizations.
A technical assistance webinar via Zoom is scheduled for applicants on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. CT.
