Alabama Tobacco Quitline
Quitting tobacco isn't easy. That's why we are here to help.
The Alabama Tobacco Quitline (1-800 Quit Now) is a free telephone and online coaching service for any Alabamian who is ready to quit tobacco.
Information, referrals and counseling are confidential, and sessions are designed on a schedule convenient for the caller. Those who enroll in the counseling program can receive, if medically eligible, up to eight weeks of nicotine patches to assist in quitting. To reach the Alabama Quitline, call 1-800 Quit Now (1-800-784-8669), visit www.quitnowalabama.com or text the word "Ready" to 21586 to enroll in the program. The Alabama Quitline provides an alternate or "direct number" to Alabama callers that do not have an Alabama phone number, please call 1-800-844-5675.
All services are free for Alabama residents.

Live Vape Free Text Service
Live Vape Free is a free and confidential text-based program for teens 13-17 that provides access to interactive content that is quick and easy to use, one-on-one coaching, videos, quizzes, assessments and podcasts to help teens quit vaping. To enroll text “vapefree” to 873373 or visit the Live Vape Free website. For parents and other supportive adults who want to learn how to support youth and young adults on their quit journey, there are also resources to support them at the Advocate section of Live Vape Free.
