Current Grant

The new grant cycle began April 1, 2019. The projects for this grant cycle are:

• EMS Provider Reassessment to determine the the degree to which EMS agencies submit National EMS Information System (NEMSIS) compliant version 3.x data to the State EMS Office for submission to NEMSIS Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
• EMS Provider Reassessment to determine the percentage EMS agencies in the state/territory that have a designated individual who coordinates pediatric emergency care.
• EMS Provider Reassessment to determine the percentage of EMS agencies in the state/territory that have a process that requires EMS providers to physically demonstrate the correct use of pediatric-specific equipment.
• Alabama EMSC will also offer its second round of an equipment grant opportunity to provide pediatric restraints to transport services in the state.
