Vendor Applications

Become a WIC Vendor

If you are interested in applying to be a WIC Vendor in the State of Alabama, you must submit a completed Alabama WIC Vendor Application Packet. Alabama WIC previously required paper applications for both new and renewal vendor applications. We are happy to announce that we've developed an online application for interested vendors. 

If you are interested in becoming an authorized Alabama WIC Vendor, the store will need to adhere to both federal regulations and state regulations set by the Alabama WIC Program.

For your convenience and understanding of our requirements, the Alabama WIC Program Vendor Procedure Handbook and our Minimum Stock Requirements are available for review. The minimum stock requirements must be met as part of the authorization process and maintained, if authorized as a WIC vendor. 

Online Application

The online version of the application packet can be found here. If you complete this version, please write down the return code in case edits are needed for your application. Alabama WIC staff will be in touch if edits are necessary.

Paper Application

Important Note: The Alabama WIC Program does not process vendor applications between July 1 and January 1 of agreement renewal year.
