Download the Alabama Approved NEMSIS Vendor Review Process Statement
Software vendors who wish to sell their product and service packages to Alabama Emergency Medical Provider Services (EMSP) must undergo a testing process to determine their ability to pass the Alabama Schematron and successfully upload ePCR data to the Alabama EMS Data Repository. Beginning January 1, 2023, NEMSIS Software Vendors are also subject to a quarterly review process to determine their sustained ability to provide necessary services to Alabama Emergency Medical Provider Services.
The Director of the Alabama Office of Emergency Medical Services will only approve and maintain approval of NEMSIS Vendors who maintain NEMSIS compliance and compliance with Alabama NEMSIS reporting standards, including the quarterly review process. Vendors are required to transmit ALL ePCRs submitted by client EMPS regardless of pass/fail status. Vendors are also required to maintain client service following the sale of software packages and vendor grading can be affected by EMPS reports of failure to provide reasonable service and support to the following software sales.
The results of each quarterly review will be published on this page.
